Xinjiang LED Plant Factory Enriches Citizens’ Vegetable Baskets And Supplies 3 Tons Of Organic Fruits And Vegetables Daily

On February 12, New Year's Day, workers were busy picking mustard greens in the plant factory of Xinjiang Zijing Chuansuo High-tech Agriculture Co., Ltd. The general manager of the company, Zhang Shize, told reporters that the LED plant factory now sells more than 500 kilograms of fresh fruits and vegetables every day.


According to the data, Xinjiang Amethyst Chuansuo High-tech Agriculture Co., Ltd. takes the intelligent LED plant factory as a starting point to drive the development of equipment and facility agriculture, focusing on the industrialization of high-tech agriculture, often providing fresh, clean and nutritious vegetables.


The company mainly grows tomatoes, uses a three-dimensional cultivation hanging system, environmentally-friendly soilless cultivation of coconut chaff, intelligent control of water and fertilizer, automatic and precise irrigation, and can be produced in all seasons. The daily supply of organic fruits and vegetables is about 3 tons.


In the plant factory, more than ten varieties of vegetables such as lettuce, pakchoi, cucumber, and colored pepper are grown with the help of LED lights. The sterile environment allows the vegetables to be eaten without washing after being picked.


Zhang Shize said that the company guarantees that there are 8 to 12 leafy vegetable varieties and 8 to 12 fruit and vegetable varieties every day. Currently, it also provides door-to-door delivery of vegetable spree services. Each vegetable spree contains 16 varieties of vegetables.


In addition, the company's ripe clustered cherry tomatoes can contain more than 11% sugar, which is about the same as the sugar content of fruits such as pears and grapes. Cluster-harvested cherry tomatoes are also favored by consumers because of their high sugar content, good taste and organic food.


At present, the company is preparing for the construction of the second phase of the project. By then, the planting scale will be expanded from the current 30,000 square meters to 150,000 square meters, and the daily market of fruits and vegetables will reach more than 40 tons.
